Ad Fraud Regulation

Also: Fraud liability

The legal exposure around invalid traffic. Ad fraud is prosecuted in the United States under wire fraud statutes (the 3ve and Methbot cases) and can support civil claims against sellers. Contracts increasingly specify who bears the cost of impressions later found invalid, and the IAB standard terms address it.
