Cookie Consent Enforcement

Regulatory action over consent practices, led by France's CNIL, which has fined Google, Meta, Amazon, TikTok, and others tens or hundreds of millions of euros for banners that made refusal harder than acceptance. The enforcement record is why banner design is a compliance matter.
