Data Broker
A company that collects and sells personal data about people with whom it has no direct relationship. Data brokers supply much of the third-party audience market and are subject to registration laws in California, Vermont, Texas, and Oregon, and to the California Delete Act's one-stop deletion mechanism from 2026.
