Target CPA

Also: tCPA

Automated bidding that sets bids to achieve an average cost per conversion the advertiser specifies. Target CPA needs a steady flow of conversions to learn from, typically 30 or more a month per campaign, and it responds to the target as a signal, not a promise: a target set below what the auction can deliver reduces volume rather than cost.
