Demand-Side Platform

Also: DSP

Software through which advertisers and agencies buy programmatic inventory across many exchanges and publishers from one interface, with audience targeting, bidding, frequency management, and reporting. The major independent DSPs are The Trade Desk, Amazon DSP, Google Display & Video 360, Yahoo DSP, StackAdapt, and Viant; Criteo, Quantcast, and others compete in specific segments. DSP fees are charged as a percentage of media, typically 10 to 20 percent.
