Geofencing
Targeting mobile devices that enter a drawn boundary around a physical location, such as a store, a competitor's store, or a conference venue, using GPS or other location signals collected by apps with location permission. Precise location data is now regulated as sensitive in several US states and under the GDPR, and the supply of it shrank accordingly.
