Topics API
A Privacy Sandbox API in Chrome that infers a small set of interest topics from a user's recent browsing, kept on the device, and shares a few of them with sites and ad tech callers as a coarse targeting signal in place of third-party-cookie profiling. Adoption has been limited; it remains a reference point for what browser-mediated interest targeting looks like.
