LinkedIn CPCs run $5 to $9 for most sponsored content and $10 or more when targeting senior titles in competitive industries, so anything under $6 is good. The high price buys targeting no other platform has, and it is justified only when the value of a lead is high enough to absorb it.
What moves it
Job title and seniority targeting cost the most; skills, groups, and company lists cost less for similar audiences. Audience expansion lowers CPC by loosening targeting, which defeats the purpose. Lead gen forms cut cost per lead relative to landing pages at some cost to lead quality.
