Flighting
Scheduling media in discrete bursts with gaps between them, as opposed to continuous delivery. Flighting concentrates weight when it matters, around a launch, a season, or a sales event, and is the standard structure of a Media Plan. Pulsing is a hybrid: a continuous base with periodic heavier flights.
